Worship Arts

The practice of and participation in corporate worship fulfills God’s purpose in creating people for His praise and glory. Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. It is because of His glorious person and wonderful work that all worship is due Him. Therefore the expression of our worship is of first importance. Just as Moses and the Israelites did, so do we bring the presence of the Lord wherever we go (Exodus 40:38).

The Worship Arts ministry of Lifegate Church exists to see the people experience God and be transformed through worship. We want to see people enter into worship that exceeds beyond the church walls, sharing their faith with everyone. Our worship is centered on Jesus (Colossians 1:15-20) through music, arts, drama, etc. as we worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).

The purpose of the Worship Arts ministry of Lifegate Church is to draw in the presence of the Lord as we adore Him through song and the arts, believing for the change and freedom of His people. We exist to teach the people the Word of God through biblical-based worship, encourage others in the Lord, and to invoke the presence of God. We adore the Lord in the arts, believing in Him to heal us in His presence. We prepare the hearts of the congregation to focus on God through praise - what God has done (i.e., His mighty works, miracles, and signs) and worship - who God is (i.e., majestic, glorious, our Healer). “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power for ever and ever” (Revelation 5:13).

The Worship Arts ministry of Lifegate Church currently includes: musicians, vocalists, audio techs, media techs, and lighting techs.
